ICE/Homeland Security imprisons Haitian man who testified in child sexual abuse investigation of orphanage in Port au Prince.-

A HAITIAN MAN WHO TESTIFIED IN A U.S. FEDERAL COURT AFFIDAVIT THAT HE WAS SEXUALLY ABUSED WHEN HE WAS A CHILD IN HAITI BY ORPHANAGE DIRECTOR, MICHAEL GEILENFELD, HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND IMPRISONED BY ICE/ HOMELAND SECURITY OFFICIALS IN MASSACHUSETTS.

EMILE MILLIEN COOPERATED IN A RECENT ICE/HOMELAND SECURITY CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AT GEILENFELD'S ORPHANAGE IN HAITI.

MILLIEN HAS NOW FALLEN INTO A "BLACK HOLE" OF THE U.S. JUSTICE SYSTEM.

ICE/HOMELAND SECURITY OFFICIALS REFUSE TO STATE WHY MILLIEN IS IMPRISONED.

Child protection advocates are waiting for more information so as to be able to determine if the U.S. citizen who allegedly sexually abused a young boy 28 years ago in Haiti, beginning when the boy was 10 years old, may be behind U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement's sudden and unexplainable interest in Emile Millien's U.S. visa status.

Recently, Millien and another Haitian man signed affidavits in a U.S. Federal Court civil law suit in which the men testified that they were sexually abused by Geilenfeld when they were children living at the orphanage near Port au Prince, Haiti.

Millien is being detained by Immigration officials in the Plymouth, MA state prison. He has been locked in a jail cell for 9 days.

Millien's Haitian born wife (a U.S. citizen) and their four children who live near Boston are struggling. Millien's wife works nights as a nurse at a Boston area hospital.

Finding an affordable babysitter to cover her late night shift is difficult.

The children are frightened and crying a lot.

They don't understand why their dad isn't home.

It's as if Millien has fallen into a "black hole" of the U.S. justice system. Millien and his family are scared to death that Emile will be deported back to Haiti without warning and before the situation can be sorted out through due process.

Nine days have passed and it's still not clear as to why Millien is being held in jail by U.S. ICE/Homeland Security officials.

U.S Immigration and Customs officials refuse to release any information.

Former residents of Geilenfeld's orphanage in Haiti (the St. Joseph's Family of Homes), young men who also allege that they were sexually abused by Geilenfeld, blame Jessica Reitz, a USAID official stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Port au Prince and a former board member of Geilenfeld's orphanage, for not listening to and acting upon their cries for help to U.S. Embassy workers these past many years.

Geilenfeld first came to Haiti 30 years ago. He is the former "Brother Michael," a member of Mother Theresa's Brothers of the Missionaries of Charity. In 1984, Geilenfeld was called back to the U.S. by his Superior and ordered not to return to Haiti. A year later, Geilenfeld resigned from the Order and returned to Haiti anyway.

Reitz, a long time, faithful supporter of Geilenfeld, has unfettered access to U.S. Embassy and ICE/Homeland Security officials
