FEDERAL JUDGE IN PORTLAND, ME ORDERS SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE IN HAITI CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE LAWSUIT.

DEFENDANT PAUL KENDRICK INSTRUCTS LAWYERS TO TAKE THE CASE TO TRIAL.

NO PRE-TRIAL SETTLEMENT.

EVIDENCE AND TESTIMONY MUST SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY.

BANGOR DAILY NEWS 2/7/13

"This lawsuit is an attempt to silence me from trying to protect Haitian children from being sexually abused and my efforts to bring a measure of justice to those who have already been abused," said Kendrick at the time the lawsuit was filed in February 2013.

"The good news about this lawsuit is that the Haitian children who were sexually abused will finally have the opportunity to confront their abuser in the safety of a U.S. courtroom. The plaintiffs in this lawsuit are calling the victims liars. Their attempts to silence me will only serve to make the victims' voices stronger and more forceful."
