Trial Date, July 6, 2015 - Hearts with Haiti & Michael Geilenfeld v. Paul Kendrick - U.S. Federal Court in Portland, ME - Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. presiding.

MICHAEL GEILENFELD, THE HAITI ORPHANAGE DIRECTOR WHO HAS FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST CHILD PROTECTION ACTIVIST, PAUL KENDRICK, WOULD'T PASS THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF PORTLAND'S BACKGROUND CHECK.

If Michael Geilenfeld wanted today to volunteer at a parish or school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland (ME) to teach a religious education class or chaperone a parish youth group to World Youth Day, he couldn't do it.

Geilenfeld wouldn't pass the background check necessary to work with young people in the Catholic Church in Maine or elsewhere.

Geilenfeld is a former Catholic Brother and member of Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity.

Geilenfeld is currently the Executive Director of the St. Joseph's Orphanages in Haiti.

It should be noted that Geilenfeld's application to volunteer in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland would have been rejected long before Geilenfeld ever heard of Paul Kendrick.

During the past thirty years Geilenfeld has been accused on multiple occasions of physically and sexually abusing children in his care in Haiti.
