Dr. Peter Kelly
Chairman
Crudem Foundation
Sacre Coeur Hospital
Milot, Haiti
Dear Dr. Kelly,
I warned you several times in the past that if you did not permanently remove Hope Carter from the Board of Directors of the Crudem Foundation, the drum beat would get louder.
Today, Cyrus Sibert, a Haitian journalist, and I distributed leaflets at Sacre Coeur Hospital in Milot, Haiti. We called for the immediate removal of Hope Carter from Crudem's Board of Directors.
In addition, we spoke with members of the hospital's staff about Hope Carter's mistreatment and abandonment of the victims of child sex abuse by Douglas Perlitz.
Our leaflet informed the Milot community that Hope Carter obstructed justice by secretly removing two of Perlitz's computers from Haiti and that she called the victims (Haitian children) "liars."
I want you to know that we also spoke today with community leaders in Milot about Carter's mistreatment of the boys who reported their abuse. We told them that you, Dr. Peter Kelly, are paying the sex abuse victims and the Haitian people great disrespect by your failure to remove Carter from the Crudem board.
I told the community leaders that it is obvious that you don't care about the horrific harm done to the Haitian kids. I told them that you only care about the amounts of money that Carter donates to the hospital.
I have made several efforts to meet with you in Wilbraham. You have ignored all my attempts to discuss this issue with you.
Tonight, I will be interviewed on a local radio station in Cap Haitian about Hope Carter's failure to protect children. I will say to the people that if Dr. Peter Kelly really cared about the issue of child sex abuse, if Dr. Kelly really cared about the children of Haiti, he would long ago have removed the likes of Hope Carter from his foundation's board of directors.
Sincerely,
Paul Kendrick _____________________________________________
