During the early morning hours of June 1 at least three gunmen attempted to kill Martelly's close associate Ro Ro Nelson in his personal residence. A gunbattle followed in which one attacker was killed, another wounded while a third escaped. Investigations are now underway and the survivor should give interesting testimony as to who sent him.

The gloves are off.

Martelly can no longer accept many things that have happened over the past 12 months.

He must take immediate and firm action or be prepared to pay a much higher price.
