The Attorney General of North Carolina wants to know: ARE MICHAEL GEILENFELD'S THREE ORPHANAGES IN HAITI LICENSED AND ACCREDITED TO OPERATE?
COPY OF LETTER FROM NC ATTORNEY GENERAL DATED MAY 2nd TO HEARTS WITH HAITI.
COMPLAINT FILED WITH NORTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERAL...
On February 13, 2013, seven minor children were removed from Michael Geilenfeld's St. Joseph Home for Boys orphanage in Haiti and placed into the protective care of IBESR (Haiti Child Welfare Agency)
IS IBESR REFUSING TO GRANT LICENSING/ACCREDITATION TO GEILENFELD'S ORPHANAGES IN HAITI?
Here's what it says on the HWH/St. Joseph's Family of Homes website:
Is this accurate?
"The St. Joseph Family is in good standing the Haitian department of social services — Institut du Bien Etre Social et de Recherches (IBESR) — and many of our children at the three homes come as referrals from IBESR." http://heartswithhaiti.org/st-joseph-family.html

Monsieur/Madame
The Directorate-General of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR), following the report of the Services of Social Works dated 25 November 2013 establishing that the children in your custody, in violation of the decrees of 22 December 1971 and November 4, 1983 and persistent allegations of abuse, are in a situation of vulnerability and insecurity.
As a result of this finding of illegality, this failure to comply with performance standards and pending confirmation of these allegations, this Directorate decided to move these children and relocate them in a safer space.
Counting on your cooperation and your understanding, the Directorate-General of the Institute of the Bien - Etre Social and research (IBESR) ask you to receive, Mr / Mrs, (names redacted), distinguished salutatations.
Arielle Jeanty VILLEDROUIN Director General
