Haïti a désespérément besoin de vous aujourd'hui. Vous qui étudiez et vous préparez à retourner chez vous, vous qui êtes déjà revenus, vous qui luttez déjà sur notre sol depuis si longtemps, vous pouvez changer ce pays et le rendre vivable pour tous.
Nous devons élire un candidat qui pourra finalement sortir notre pays de l'abîme et le mener vers le développement. Tout est à faire, c'est vrai, mais nous pouvons dès aujourd'hui tous contribuer pour amener ce changement désiré.
Vous autres Haitiens vous pouvez et devez être ce CHANGEMENT auquel nous pouvons croire. Nous avons besoin de sang neuf, de dirigeants intègres qui ont déjà connu la célébrité et la fortune et ne prendront pas ce pays en otage seulement pour leur gain financier.
Si vous n'agissez pas décisivement aujourd'hui, nous resterons dans le statu quo avec tous les incapables qui ont défilé devant nous ces vingt dernières années.

Haiti desperately needs you today. Those of you still studying and preparing to return home, those who have already taken that step, those who have been fighting for a better country for so long on our soil, you have the opportunity to change this country and make it livable for us all.
We need to elect a candidate who will finally bring our country out of the abyss and lead it to development. Much remains to be done, that is true, but as of today we can participate in bringing about this so desired change.
People of Haiti, you have the power to be and you must be that CHANGE we aspire to, that CHANGE we can believe in. We need new blood, honest leaders who have already experienced fame and fortune and will not hold this country hostage for their own financial gains.
If you do not act decisively now, we will remain in the status quo with all the incompetents who have led us during the past twenty years.
The alternative is Michel Martelly. Popular man, that is true; a comedian at heart, that is true; a friend to each and all, that is true. But it is a profoundly changed, serious, dedicated Michel Martelly, anxious to save his country, who appeals to you today. He has already created the "Fondation Rose et Blanc" which has been ardently and diligently working to help the Haitian population during the past several years. The unfortunate disastrous events of January 12th 2010, reinforced his determination and motivation to knock on every door to find much needed help and solutions.
